Knowledge Sources

📜

Scientific Papers

Chatgeti can search our curated paper database. Papers are indexed using SPECTER embeddings, which understand scientific meaning - so searches find conceptually related work, not just keyword matches.

🌐

Web Search

All personas can search the web for current information beyond their training data. Academic and scientific sources are prioritized in results.

📁

Your Documents

Upload your own PDFs, papers, or notes directly in the chat. The assistant can then answer questions about your uploaded content.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which persona should I use?
Use Chatgeti when you need to find papers, understand research, or analyze literature. Use Codegeti for programming tasks, debugging, or writing scripts. Use Writegeti when drafting papers, editing text, or improving your writing.
How does Chatgeti find papers?
Chatgeti has built-in tools that automatically search our paper database when you ask research questions. Just ask naturally - for example, "find papers about transformer architectures" or "what are the key papers on protein folding?" The assistant will search and present relevant results.
How do I upload my own documents?
Click the paperclip icon in the chat interface to upload PDFs, text files, or other documents. You can then ask the assistant questions about the content you uploaded.
What information does Chatgeti have about papers?
Chatgeti can access paper titles, abstracts, authors, publication years, and DOIs. It can search by semantic similarity (finding conceptually related papers, not just keyword matches) and explore citation relationships.
Why do I see "thinking" in responses?
All personas use extended thinking mode, which shows the model's reasoning process. This helps produce more accurate and well-reasoned answers. The thinking is displayed in a collapsible section you can expand or collapse.
